Pumpkins, Pumpkins, Everywhere a Pumpkin

I went shopping with my friend yesterday and I was amazed at all the pretty pumkins everywhere. Homegoods has pumkins in every size, shape and color. So I came home with a few and started to add the fall touches here and there. This is our family room.
I don't have a very deep mantel so holding a candlestick and a skinny clock and an autumn vine is about all I can do. My hubby says I cover any bare spot in the house. I say I am a Victorian at heart.
This is the only pumpkin I came away with from Homegoods this year. I showed some restraint. My mother got this basket collection started. She had one of the 1st JW Longenberger Market baskets. I remember well the year she held that show.
My sister has the rest of her collection.

I loved how I have seen pumkins on cake plates this year. Thank you girls for that great idea.
I had everything all put in to place and thought I was done and then I went shopping again and what did I see but this beautiful Autumn tree. Omgosh I wanted it. It was only about a $1200.
The sign said.
But my purse said,
You can't.
My hubby said I have a very smart purse!

Hi Becky,
I love all your pumpkins! The family room looks so pretty all dressed for Fall. Wow you only bought one, good job! I know I found a pumpkin in mercury glass and I didn't buy it, I know I'm going to wish I had it. That will be the pumpkin that I'll always remember that I didn't buy LOL. Do you do that? I always think of some way I could have used something soon after I pass it up and then go back and it's gone. Well I'm rambling,I just finished an iced coffee, must be the caffiene LOL. We need to call each other! Talk soon (;

Hi Becky,
Your home looks so cozy. I love denim furniture. I had a denim loveseat and sofa for several years. I loved putting it with red and yellow. There is so much you can do with it. Your home is very fallized....is that word? It is now!

Hugs,
LeAnn:)

Hi Becky, I love your decorating for fall! So many pretty things here. I love this time of year!
My daughter Jen told me about your pink camper and boat so I had to stop by and take a look. Just beautiful! We used to camp but since we've moved to the mountains we don't camp anymore. I ruffeled our camper up a bit but not as pretty a job as you did! I love your little sweet touches in the boat also! When we go out in the boat I take my magazines and needlework but have not tried to frill it up, maybe I will give that a try. Oh No I can here hubby now! LOL
Blessings, Shirl

I did see in one of your comments, your dog Abbey and your son, but I forgot to tell you. Also I always wanted a sister so you can diffently call me sis, LOL!

HI Becky,
I too am a misplaced Victorian, but I lack the house to prove it. I love the look of your family room. It's very cozy with all the autumn accents. It makes me wish I had a bit of autumn about.
Have a lovely day. Are your leaves turning?

HI Becky,
I'm never quite sure which blog to go to when responding so I'll just go between here and your Shabby Old House.
The Victorian Lady I believe is by E. B. Leighton and I should post my source but I'm naughty and don't. Anyway she doesn't belong to me and is free for the taking (I hope) :0!
If there's anything else you'd like to take off my blog feel free.
I always think you're in Georgia and forget you're a Floridian...oops. But then do the leaves change in the south? I'm so confused!
Well, have a wonderful eveining anyways.
God Bless, Cori

Hey Becky! I just love all of your pretty fall decor...and those built in cabinets are gorgeous in your home....It's all so pretty with the green painted background and then the green painted above the fireplace. I love that color of green, and it's so pretty to me with the red floral draperies. You are good you know it girl! Have a great day!
