Imagine my excitement when I found these two PINK Ironstone pitchers at a garage sale. I paid only $7. I have seen plenty of white old Ironstone but never pink. The lady that I bought them from was from Germany and the Ironstone is from England.
Does anybody out there know about this Ironstone?
It is called Princess Pink.
This is my neighbor Vern. He was a faithful husband that lost his wife a few years ago. She had been sick for so many years and he loved her until the end and with her passing I watched a very sad man.
Then he met Ellen. And a smile is now on that face and
I guess you can say he is tickled pink with his fabulous find!
Don't they look charming under the Pink Mandeville vine?
And don't you just love a Happy Ending?
The End..but wait..want more?
Then run on over to http://www.howsweetthesound.typepad.com/
and visit with Beverly and the girls for more wonderful
pink things.

Beautiful pitchers and a wonderful happy ending..rather a new beginning. Happy late Pink Saturday..and have a lovely week.
I love white ironstone and don't think I ever saw pink...could be it's rare as hens teeth. I love it when I am smoozzing at yard sales and run across it for dirt prices cuz they don't know what they have. I picked up a small soup tureen at the flea this weekend and may use it in my bath for soaps and junk or maybe a candle holder. Come see what I made for my kitty out of a spare chair.
