Certain of what we do not see

It was an early morning drive from Eufaula back to Tampa. We were the only ones on this pretty country road around the lake. The cool air from the night was mixing with the warmth of the sun and you could see the fog slowing starting to lift, floating peacefully in the air.
This picture has a spiritual significance to me. Right now I can't see things as clearly as I could a year ago. I know like this picture there is beauty in the fog. Hidden in the mist is a beautiful lake and trees. But right now my eyes are straining to see. But I trust that it is there. I know that it is there.
Hebrews 11:1
Now faith is being sure of what we hope for
and certain of what we do not see.

Good morning Becky,
It seems this new year has started off with many of us broken hearted or unsure of things to come. I will keep you in my prayers dear friend. The Lord knows every detail of your struggle and He knows the outcome will glorify Him in your life.
Hang in there.

I'm sending you a big hug!

Life is the adventure God gives us. We often cannot see where He is taking us, and just move along with His nudges (sometimes shoves!). We walk in faith, knowing that He has a destination already planned for us. And we know it is good.

The fog will lift...and the sunlight of understanding will sparkle on the lake. We will reach that destination...and see clearly...and know where we are...right where God wants us to be.

Keep walking in faith, my dear friend...the destination will soon come into view.

Ramblings from a fellow sojourner...

That was a beautiful revelation from the Lord. Looking out to what it seens to be is not necessarily what it appears to be.

In my bible Hebrews 11:1 Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen.

11 Corinthians 5:7 ( For we walk by faith, not by sight:)

Correction- seems not seen -Sorry I do that all the time. I'm going to blame it on menopause. My husband calls it MENTALPAUSE.

That's it-*faith* We've been talking about that a lot over here. Living in the moment and what that means...doing today what God has called me to-TODAY...not worrying about tomorrow. I, too, have gone through my years of pain and *fogginess*-a real testing of my faith. It is by God's grace that I am still walking. He is faithful!
sweet prayers for you,
Rene'
