Pink Saturday and Fabulous Finds

Imagine my excitement when I found these two PINK Ironstone pitchers at a garage sale. I paid only $7. I have seen plenty of white old Ironstone but never pink. The lady that I bought them from was from Germany and the Ironstone is from England.
Does anybody out there know about this Ironstone?
It is called Princess Pink.
Now imagine his excitement when Ellen came into his life.
This is my neighbor Vern. He was a faithful husband that lost his wife a few years ago. She had been sick for so many years and he loved her until the end and with her passing I watched a very sad man.
Then he met Ellen. And a smile is now on that face and
I guess you can say he is tickled pink with his fabulous find!

Don't they look charming under the Pink Mandeville vine?

And don't you just love a Happy Ending?

The End..but wait..want more?

Then run on over to http://www.howsweetthesound.typepad.com/

and visit with Beverly and the girls for more wonderful

pink things.

Pink Saturday

I am moving quickly as we are off to Eufaula to work on the old Victorian. Be sure to come back next week to see my post on OneShabbyOldHouse. I have also posted new pictures on our Rose Lake Cottage here in FL.

But for today I will show you Touches of Pink.Chenille teddy bears in pink. This make you want to hunt for that pink chenille bedspread and start a Christmas project doesn't it?

Soft touches of pink.
A rose is a rose is a Pink rose on a plate.
A beautiful Pink Victorian Hat.
This house is 3 doors down from http://www.oneshabbyoldhouse.blogspot.com/

Check out my pinkness there too.

I just love my neighbor's pink door!

Now click on over to Beverly's as she host a wonderful Pink Saturday weekly.

You will be delighted at all the pink that each participant shares.

Pink Nursery Furniture

My daughter was stationed with her husband in Kentucky. She announced that they were coming back home to Tampa. And then she added,"Ya know mom, with both sets of Grandparents close by I think that we will start a family. I was thrilled out of my mind! I had a shop at the time and so I bought that cute little pink chest of drawers, the bassinet with all of those cute quilts and the Mother Goose book and that adorable rocker. Her Shabby Chic nursery was all set. Then after 4 months of being home she changed her mind. She tells me now that when her Baby, meaning hubby, grows up she will have a baby. So she decided to go back to school. I'm ok with it now. She probably would have had a Boy anyway.

Beverly over at http://www.howsweetthesound.typepad.com/ host's a wonderful advent called Pink Saturday. If you go to her site she lists all the other ladies participating in Pink Saturday. Enjoy!
