Faith

All we need it is the Faith of a little seed.
Are you in a struggle?
Listen to the following song. May the message grow in your heart.

There are times of certainty and times of uncertainty and these times are uncertain for many, that is in the natural eyes. When a leader of a country spends an hour telling his people that times are desperate you know you better have faith in something. God tells us that we will face trials but do not faint but to have faith and understand that these trials are for the refining of our faith. He tells us to be anxious for nothing, in 1 Peter 5:6-9 it says to humble ourselves and cast our anxiety on Him, then stand firm and in His due time He will lift us up. His due time? What is that, in America we want things on our due time, we want to live without challenge and without discomfort but that is not what is told in God's Word. What He does promise is that He will never leave us or forsake us, and that we have the power to overcome the challenges of this world. So how do we become overcomers? In Romans 10:8 the Bible tells us, the word is near you, it is in your mouth and in your heart, that is the word of faith we are proclaiming. He tells us in Mark 11:22-24 to have faith in God, and don't doubt, then you can tell that mountain (issue) to be removed. So what does it take to have that kind of faith, believe He is near, believe He will never leave you, believe that in His due time (perfect time) you will be the victor. It's belief so simple yet so hard because this fallen world can be seen, but God tells us in His word that we walk by faith and not by sight, and He has not given us a spirit of fear but of love, power and a sound mind. So today take up the Spirit of God, keep his words on you lips and speak to those mountains and do not doubt, just try it and see if your don't feel God near. It's a challenge!Today Lord I reject all fear and anxiety in my life, casting all my cares upon your shoulders who can bear it. I will not be seized by fear of any circumstance as I have the Word on my lips that protects me. I will use my faith every hour today believing and speaking to any issues that come my way to get in line with the perfect will of God. I am the victor and not a victim and you have given me the power to be in command of any situation. Help me Lord as it is by your strength and not mine which I am thankful.

Devotion written...by my hubby dear.

Some Would Say We Lost Our Cindi

But you can't say someone is lost
When you know where they are!!
Cindi went to be with the Lord
On Valentine's day.
If you knew Cindi you know how much she Loved Jesus.
I am not talking she liked him a little bit.
SHE WAS SOLD OUT CRAZY ABOUT HIM.
She sang on the Worship Team at church and she would say to her friends that would tell her they couldn't sing, You aren't singing for these people to hear you,
You are singing to Our Jesus!
She sang with the passion that consumed her.
Now she is singing to the lover of her soul.
I am so grateful for your prayers and your comments.
I want to tell you that the power of them was truely in that hospital room.
She was unable to breath on her own and so that tough decision came.
My brother thought he would be a basket case but he told me that when he was given the pen to sign the paper removing life support, a PEACE came over him like he had never felt before.
As we waited by her bed during her final moments one of the sweetest things happened.
When the monitor came to zero my brother gently kissed her and said goodbye my little sweetie.
The monitor jumped back up to 18 then slowly back to zero and with that he gave her one more kiss. The monitor jumped back to 18 and then back to zero and with that he gave her her final kiss. He told me later that Cindi would always tell him after he kissed her,
"I love your Kisses. Can I have one more?"
In her final moments she played her little kissing game one last time with my brother.
She got her Valentine's Day kisses.
Please continue to keep my brother in your prayers.
Knowing you have people praying just means the world to me!

A Valentine Prayer Request

This is my brother's wife Cindi. I call her a Joy Bubble because she is blessed with the most infectious smile and laugh and energy and the voice of an angel.
On Thursday night she went to bed with neck pain and later was air lifted to the hospital with a major brain hemmorage and is now in a coma.
She is only in her 40's.
My brother must now make the horrible decision to take her off of life support.
I do believe in miracles and I do believe in wanting God's will.
Please pray for comfort for my brother Marc.
When you find your treasure

Make sure that they know that they are daily!
We never know just how much time we have with them.
Just hoping that this post as sad as it is will cause you to go and hug that treasure that you call your Hubby or Wife.

I like having this guy around!

We have a pretty little lake behind our home. When we bought our lot I always believed that having this lake would increase the number of days in my hubby dears life.
Corporate world can be so stressful. My husband works hard and I so appreciate all that he has done and does daily for our family. I can't tell you how many pictures I have taken of him out on the lake. It is peaceful to me. Maybe because I know that he is not only fishing but carrying on a conversation with the Lord.
He is a good man
I adore him!
If you happen to read this honey, I love you xxxooo

A Wonderful Lunch too

You won't just find the atmosphere to be the only beautiful thing at the Garden Gate Tea Room
Would you just look at the beautiful presentation of this meal my hubby and I shared.

Yes it was as wonderful as it looked.
In fact is was even better.
This room had just had a large gathering so it is a bit of a mess but I wanted to show you that it had a White Baby Grand Piano. Kind of makes me want to paint my piano white.

I loved what they did with this old sideboard. For those of you who build furniture here is a good idea.

And so this is all of my pictues of the tea room
I hope you enjoyed your visit with me.
Remember...if you came to visit me..I would take you here!
