We have a gazebo in our back yard.Standing in it the other day I realized how grown up our lake bank had gotten.
So wanting this particular spot to have a beautiful view, I went to work.
The thought of uncovering a snake or even an alligator is always a little unsettling but prayer and determination kept me going this day.However my back and shoulders are stopping me today.
The End...or the beginning.You just never know with me.
Not one sight of a snake or an alligator.
I guess the sight of me and a machetti was a little unsettling to them.

Hi Becky...Thant would be me too....I would be clearing out that spot for a beautiful view as well.....a gazebo....that is on my list of wants....I received two brochures of gazebo's....I have to choose the one I want....I told my Hubby that is all I want for my birthday, Mothers day and Christmas...I think I covered all the holidays....I even told him I would pay for half...we will see....I have a great spot for one.....some day.....

Oh I could have been your watchwoman. If I'da seen any gators or snakes I could have jumped up and down screaming hysterically to alert you. That's what friends are for, isn't it ;0?!

Becky you are a brave lady to tackle that job. I could never do it! Bobby G. is cutting down the overgrowth on our lake edge today. I can't even take a short walk without seeing one of those slithering things around. It's that time of year. Ugh!
