A Gift Wrapped Up With You In Mind

I wish that I was one of those people who shop early and then wrap their presents and place them under the tree like perfect decorations. But the truth is I wait until the last minute and then I spend hours grabbing the right paper and the ribbon and decorative sprays.
But my favorite gifts were the ones that my children gave to me. They were jaggedly cut and taped but wrapped with so much love. Here is another Gift that came wrapped.
Wrapped in swaddling clothes and lying in a manger.
Wrapped with so much love.
I hope you have received this gift.

Merry Christmas

Becky, the most treasured "gifts" from my children are displayed around my home proudly, chickee!! A little hand woven basket when in scout camp, a liberty bell when one of them visited Philadelphia, a little bird that reminds me of one of them. Just little things like that. Yep, they're the best kind!

I've lurked enough and have time now to post so come and visit me for my Christmas blog and share in those memories, sewetpea.....

Smooches,
Connie

You are right! No one could ask for a better gift this Christmas that the one we were given over 2000 years ago.

I had to crack up at the message you left me about joining the A BETTER ME group. If you could only see the picture I had in my head with you trying to get out of your pants! LOL

Hugs,
Joanne
