Enchanting Windows and Tea Parties, Oh my

This is a view from our bedroom window. Most of the time you can keep the blinds open. Our backyard neighbors are across the lake. We have one neighbor, who likes to fish and when I opened the blinds to take this picture, there she was. We call her crazy lady although she is very nice.
Dave gave her that name because one evening he was fishing and she came trolling out and rammed his boat hard enough to scare every fish out of the lake. She was wanting him to try a special bait....yeah right. I think she wanted a better look at my man. lol
Keep scrolling...more windows to see and then join us for tea. But don't forget to visit http://www.houseinroses.blogspot.com/ as Ceilo has created the most amazing collection of windows you have ever seen. Thank you Ceilo And then visit Jan at Jan and Tom's place for a lovely tea http://www.jt-jantom.blogspot.com Enjoy!

ON TO THE TEA PARTY....

This is my daughter Natalie. She was born right in the middle of a boy world. Her little brother Nick was my busy baby and she was turning 3 when he arrived. I failed to do so many little girl things with her. Like having a tea party. So one evening she was on her way over for supper break from Publix. Notice the darling uniform. I surprised her with a tea party. The house was void all boys and she and I shared the tea party she never got while growing up. We even played dress up. I can't make her little again and go back although I can't tell you how many times I have wished that. But I can tell you young mothers out there not to make my mistake.

Take time with that little girl! Plan it today or tomorrow or next week. But don't let time slip by without this wonderful experience. You can't get that time back and you will never have regrets.

PS...she is going to kill me for posting this picture. But I think she is beautiful!

My Pink Stash

Last week I posted about the nursery furniture I had in my shop that I purchased because my daughter told me she wanted to start a family and then she later changed her mind. Well, I forgot to show you my Wishing Drawer.

Here I stash pretty little PINK finds that I will hold onto until that blessed day and I have a sweet little grand-daughter, or one or two or three.

I couldn't pass up the little blue star.

We will name him Justin.

Just- in- case.

Remember today is Pink Saturday and Beverly over at http://www.howsweetthesound.typepad.com/ has close to 80 participants today. So head on over and get tickled pink.

Blessings

Friday Family Fotos

I am missing our youngest son Nick. He is in the Army and although he calls often there is just nothing like that sweet boy's personality to make me smile. He has a good heart too. That is our Abby in his arms. She is as sweet as he is and she favors Nick. He is her boy. She was lost when he left for the Army. She like me is waiting for his return.
Deborah at www.picturespotspens.blogspot.com hosts Friday Favorite Family Fotos. So check out others who will be posting their favorite family fotos.

Showing Pretty Pumkins

I believe that the Pumpkin carving says it all. "We GIVE Thanks to God." This is His season to change his decor. The bright reds, the brilliant oranges, the sparkling yellows and the soothing greens. To thank Him for the harvest that our farmers are so dilligently bringing in. I am Thankful for a wonderful God who shows me everyday His wonderful love.
The crimson stain the white as snow.
What a beautiful reminder.

Mo from http://www.lifeatrosecottage.blogspot.com/ is hosting " Show Us your Prettiest Pumkins."

I think that this will be fun. What a great way to get some great fall decorating ideas.

I can't wait to see all the Pretty Pumkins.

These photos were taken at my Favorite shop. The Red Door in Wildwood FL.

Also check out pretty pumpkins on my www.freshgatherings.blogspot.com.

Delight Yourself

I was hoping that you could see the stone plaque better. It says,"Delight yourself in the beauty that surrounds you." I can honestly say that I have been checking out all of my favorite blogs and you girls are amazing. Thank you for surrounding me with beauty today and I know in the days to come as well.
