SUMMER HOUSE

Come along with me on a fun little shopping outing.
Today let's visit Summer House in Tampa FL
This is what you will see when you step through the doors.

Creativity abounds!
Bonnie and Russ are the shopkeepers.
Bonnie is a fabulous decorator and carefully selects just the right pieces of furniture for the shop and Russ is a talented craftsman and painter. You will usually find him in the back usually covered with paint and hard at work.

They also have a group of wonderful vendors.
This is Carol space.
She and I have become friends through blogging.
I love her stuff.

A beautiful collection of shell art and treasures.

Another vendor's space filled with incredible outdoor finds.
And they make the most incredible potting benches.

Don't you love the dove grey furniture paint.
I have got to try this out.

And then there are my special friends Denise and Charlie.
Charlie's enthusiasm for furniture is contagious.
You will never see him without a smile and that look of a wide eyed child caught with his hands in a cookie jar. They are A truely wonderful couple.
Everywhere you turn is something delightful to see.Every room gets better and better.

So if Spring break takes you to Tampa, head on over to the Summer House.
Tell them Becky sent you.
Located next door is the French Bee and I will post on that shop next.
Until then.
Becky

So many great things to see. I know when I step into places like this I get so excited. We have some awesome shops as well that I would love to show on my post one of these days, as soon as my husband goes back to work. But for now I have to wait.

LOVE it, but it would cost me my monthly paycheck if I went in there, lol.

PS my word verification is GREDY, they missed a letter, should be GREEDY!! That is what I would become in a store like that

Sure enjoyed the tour of the Summer House. Would love to see it in person. There were so many nice things and displayed so well. I also missed your blog of your little flower garden; it is so cute and welcoming. I never have done a chair, even though I do lots of flowers. I have one that will work. do you just make a chicken wire basket and staple it on to set you pot in? Would love to make one this year. blessings, carrell

Hi Becky,
You know what would be great....is to have all the cute shabby chic stores all in one place....then we could take weeks going through all of them.....around here they are few and far between....we have one that is only open once a month...but it is worth it...she has some really cute stuff and at a good price.....I also love your little garden....so cute and all ready for spring....I have been making some pillows for gifts lately...I am in a sewing mood...one of these days I should take some pictures....I keep forgetting..I give the pillow away and then remember I should have taken a picture....hope all is well with you....
Love and Hugs,
Mo :-)
