A Valentine Prayer Request

This is my brother's wife Cindi. I call her a Joy Bubble because she is blessed with the most infectious smile and laugh and energy and the voice of an angel.
On Thursday night she went to bed with neck pain and later was air lifted to the hospital with a major brain hemmorage and is now in a coma.
She is only in her 40's.
My brother must now make the horrible decision to take her off of life support.
I do believe in miracles and I do believe in wanting God's will.
Please pray for comfort for my brother Marc.
When you find your treasure

Make sure that they know that they are daily!
We never know just how much time we have with them.
Just hoping that this post as sad as it is will cause you to go and hug that treasure that you call your Hubby or Wife.

Father God You know us because You made us. Rain down the peace that passes all understanding. Court this family with Your unchanging peace and sustain them through each minute of this grueling heartache. Thy will be done on earth as it is in Heaven.
Use this woman and her God given beauty and infectious laugh and smile for Your glory.
Thank you for her time on this earth and the Joy she has spilled onto everyone she met!

Bless my new friend Lord and fill her heart with Your prescence. Heal her sadness and fill the void.

We KNOW that Your grace and Yours alone is what we have to cling to here AND the hope of seeing our loved ones again in glory with You.
In the name of Jesus I pray, amen.

Oh, Becky. No mistake at all that you left your urgent prayer request on my blog in response to my post "The Cry of His Child."

I have walked this road with my own brother.

I am praying.

I will tell you that during those very dark days in June of 1999 -- with my brother merely 29 years old and the father of a 20 month old little girl -- all I could do was sing:

"Lord, I believe in You,
I'll always believe in You,
Though I can't see You with my eyes
Deep in my heart Your Presence I find.
Lord, I believe in You,
And I'll put my trust in You.
Let this whole world say what they may nothing can take this joy away,
Lord, I believe."

Becky, I am praying and believing and I'll continue to pray and believe -- no matter what the outcome.

He is faithful.
He is sovereign.
He is sufficient.
He is all we need.

Blessings,
Dori

Dearest Becky,

I am praying for a miracle for your brother and sister in law...O Father, when we don't understand why may we throw ourselves on the Who.

Asking for the measure of grace that is available only for times as these to completely wash over all of you.

I do believe in miracles because we belong to a loving Father. Lord, reign down your mercy and grace on this beautiful woman. Restore her, let there be peace floating all through her hospital room that only you can give. Give those who are at her bedside strength. We trust in you Father, even though we don't always understand, we trust you.

In Jesus Name,
Amen

Hi Becky:
I came over from another blog, just wanting to say how sorry I am that your brother is put in such an awful position.
I remember a few years ago my aunt was told to start planning my uncle's funeral and she refused to listen to the doctors. My uncle came out of his coma and lived another 5 years...even took a trip to the Phillipines. You just never know...every circumstance is different.
I will pray for your sister-in-law.

Hi Becky, So sorry to hear about your sister-in-law. Please know that I have added him and his lovely wife to my prayer list. An odd coincidence...my name is Becky and my only sister's name is Cindy.

God is able to do exceedingly and abundantly above all that we can ask or even think. I pray He does just that.

Love the title to your blog and will be back to visit.

Gentle blessings to you all,
Becky

Hi Becky...me again! Just had to come back and say that I read your profile, and it is wonderful to meet another Floridian, and one who LOVES Alabama as we do. We lived at Ft. Rucker years ago, and left our hearts there. My folks lived in Abbeville for a few years before my Mom took ill.

So funny, I did a post on Mt. Dora not so long ago, too!!

We live about 30 minutes from Daytona Beach and my hubby is an avid fisherman, too. He has a Ranger flats boat, and is on the water any chance he gets. I am a novice but accompany him sometimes!!

So nice to meet you! Look forward to knowing you better!
Blessings,
Becky

Becky, Having just been through this terrible tragedy with a very dear friend less than a year ago, I will tell you that all seemed grave those hours after a massive stroke to Steve's brain stem. Surgery was out of the question, and the doctors didn't think he would survive the night. He spent his daughter's first birthday in a coma. I am most grateful to report that on March 3 it will be one year, and though the road to recovery has been very hard and very slow, Steve is very slowly making progress to his recovery. Please never stop believing in miracles, and the power of Almighty God. Your family will be in my prayers.

Warm Hugs,
Carol
