Some Would Say We Lost Our Cindi

But you can't say someone is lost
When you know where they are!!
Cindi went to be with the Lord
On Valentine's day.
If you knew Cindi you know how much she Loved Jesus.
I am not talking she liked him a little bit.
SHE WAS SOLD OUT CRAZY ABOUT HIM.
She sang on the Worship Team at church and she would say to her friends that would tell her they couldn't sing, You aren't singing for these people to hear you,
You are singing to Our Jesus!
She sang with the passion that consumed her.
Now she is singing to the lover of her soul.
I am so grateful for your prayers and your comments.
I want to tell you that the power of them was truely in that hospital room.
She was unable to breath on her own and so that tough decision came.
My brother thought he would be a basket case but he told me that when he was given the pen to sign the paper removing life support, a PEACE came over him like he had never felt before.
As we waited by her bed during her final moments one of the sweetest things happened.
When the monitor came to zero my brother gently kissed her and said goodbye my little sweetie.
The monitor jumped back up to 18 then slowly back to zero and with that he gave her one more kiss. The monitor jumped back to 18 and then back to zero and with that he gave her her final kiss. He told me later that Cindi would always tell him after he kissed her,
"I love your Kisses. Can I have one more?"
In her final moments she played her little kissing game one last time with my brother.
She got her Valentine's Day kisses.
Please continue to keep my brother in your prayers.
Knowing you have people praying just means the world to me!
Becky

I sit here with huge tears streaming down my face thinking what a beauty you all have lost but you are right. She is with the Savior now. Please accept my condolences because there is nothing in this world that will assuage your sorrow at this moment.

I am so so sorry for your loss. I know the good Lord needed her to come home, but my heart is breaking for your brother. Although I never met Cindi, I'm sure she's singing her sweet heart out with the angels! I will certainly keep him, and all of your family in my prayers. Vanna

Dear Becky...now your Joy Bubble is spreading her joy in Heaven. I'm sure God needed her for something very special. I know that her loved ones are left behind to miss her face, her voice, her touch, her special ways and I pray that God will make it easier and easier for all of you to handle. My thoughts are with you. I must say that I have been praying and praying for Cindi and wondering how she was. We don't always understand God's plan for us but we can always trust in Him and know that it is His will.
Also, what a special last kiss!!
love & hugs,
Sherry

Becky ...can you even believe the thread of believers that has become woven into our lives. Just know that you and your family will be in all of our prayers for a long long itme...I KNOW this to be true...seven months later bloggers are still asking about and praying for my hubby's full recovery from a brain inhury. I am amazed every day!!!

May God CONTINUE to show His mighty power to you and your family in a way that you would have never know unless walking this road. Trust me, you will come to know the Father in a way beyond words.

Please know that you can call on us anytime with new requests and struggles. We care and we are now part of your family.

My DH does the SAME thing with the kissing issue. When he lay unconscious for 5 days, I would kiss him all over. I would read Psalms to him in the dimly lit room of ICU. I KNOW he could hear me. Your story needs to be told again and again, especially to couples. We don't about tomorrow. Kiss em' once and then kiss em' again!!!

God bless you dear dear friend....and kiss your brother for all of us...he might need this a whole lot more often now!

Becky, I wish I had your email so these thoughts could be kept private between us but no matter. I don't know why but her death touched me so deeply. Whether it's because she was so young and beautiful or the story about the kisses, but it truly just melted my heart and the tears just flowed. We all face this situation and I'm hoping I don't have to face it for a very long time, but as you can attest here it strikes us all - young and old. Soooooo very sorry and sad to have it happen to such a beauty so young.
xoxo,
Connie
